We are a Domiciliary care provider based in Caterham, Surrey. Our Service users are aged 18 to 65 years and above. We are looking for a skilled Care Coordinator to join our new care agency on a full time basis. This will involve coordinating schedules effectively and efficiently in order to provide an outstanding quality service to clients in their own home.
The Coordinator will report to the Registered Manager and provide leadership to care staff within Mettle and Bond Care Ltd. The Care Coordinator should be able to understand person- centred care, understand human rights and the impact on care delivery, address immediate issues, compassion/ empathy and improve outcomes for clients that use the service. The Care Coordinator will provide care in accordance with current best practices, company's policies and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager. The Care Coodinator will be required to maintain skills at a current level and undertake training and development as required in order to maintain up to date practices.
The Care Coordinator will be contracted to work 35 hours per week as agreed with the Registered Manager.
Responsibilities and Roles:
- The Care Coordinator will ensure that service users are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing.
- The Care Coordinator will ensure that all staff contribute to the efficient running of Mettle & Bond Care Ltd and supervise staff.
- The Care Coordinator will ensure that the care service is delivered to Service Users at the times and for the duration specified in the relevant individual agreement (s) and contract standards.
- The Care Coordinator will be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support.
- The Care Coordinator will be responsible for developing an effective working relationship with other employees within Mettle & Bond Care Ltd.
- The Care Coordinator will be required to attend statutory training and any other training as directed by the management.
- The Care Coordinator will work in cooperation with members of the multi-disciplinary teams to maximise opportunites for service users.
