Female Care Assistant

£13.00 per hour + £0.30 pence per mile mileage allowance

We are recruiting for the following shifts:

Mornings 7am -2:30pm

Evenings 2:30pm - 10pm

Waking Nights 10pm-7am

Bluebird Care Coventry are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Care Assistants to join our dedicated and friendly team, supporting vulnerable adults in the comfort of their own homes within Coventry.

What will you be doing as a Care Assistant?

• You will deliver high-quality support and care tailored to people’s needs.
• You will promote our customer's dignity, independence, and individuality.
• You will support customers with their personal care needs including showering/bathing/dressing/toileting/continence.
• You will provide comfort and companionship.
• You will assist with household tasks and meal preparation.
• You will undertake observations on those you support and will document this as necessary in their care plans.
• You will assist your customer to access the community, attending appointments, social visits, and days out.
• You will assist with our customer's medication.

Essential

• Right to work in the UK
• Live within a reasonably commutable distance to the advertised role
• Full UK Driving License and access to your own car.
• Available to work alternate weekends as our minimum requirement – hours Monday to Friday are then agreed to fit your personal circumstances.
• Excellent communication skills and relationship-building skills.
• Satisfactory references
