Angels Private Home Care are seeking experienced bank home care assistants to support elderly adults in their homes and promote independence through a variety of care services.

The shift patterns vary and will include day, evening, and weekend work. Shift times can be negotiated during the interview stage.

Previous experience preferred but full training can be given.

Angels private home care is dedicated to keeping the elderly and vulnerable in the comfort of their own homes. Applications from non-drivers are welcomed if able to travel to the clients on time.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with personal care duties such as toileting, bathing, dressing, brushing teeth, etc.
  • Assisting with the administration of medication
  • Manual handling, using equipment where required
  • Promoting client’s health and wellbeing
  • Companionship and help with activities/appointments
  • Assisting clients in planning, preparing and cooking nutritious meals
  • Assisting with dietary and fluid needs
  • Assisting clients with everyday tasks including laundry, changing and making beds, tidying and light cleaning duties.
  • Assisting clients with social and physical activities
  • Shopping and collecting prescriptions
  • Ensuring all needs are met as outlined in clients individual care plan
