Key responsibilities:

Providing care and support to individuals living in their own home to a high standard. Daily responsibilities include:

  • Driving to each client's house. Depending on what shift pattern you choose, you can expect to support and drive to between 7-15 clients per day

  • Assisting clients with bathing, grooming, and getting dressed

  • Handling household tasks like grocery shopping and laundry

  • Preparing and serving meals at the appropriate times

  • Administering and organising medication

  • Providing mental emotional support to our clients clients

  • Providing mobility assistant to our clients

  • Making recommendations to family members and healthcare personnel on the plan of care

  • Organising suitable recreational activities for clients e.g social activities, shopping trips, cafe? visits.

  • Collaborating with other health care and social care professionals to provide the best possible care

  • Offering choice to our clients on every individualised task

  • Completing visit notes that are detailed, accurate and true

  • Attending mandatory training to ensure their own knowledge is up to date

  • Guaranteed hours contracts. No zero hour contracts

  • £2.10 per house that you visit. Travelling between calls is kept to the minimum necessary

Our shift patterns:
We don’t offer zero hour contracts. Instead, we want to ensure all of our care team knows that we can guarantee a minimum number of hours no matter what. In all of these contracts, you can still pick up extra work if you wish to!

So that all of our team can have weekends off, we require all of our team to have full availability on each shift pattern and to work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday).

Full time rota pattern - 30 minimum guaranteed weekly hours

  • This would see you working a mix of morning, lunch and tea calls during the week. Including your weekend to work, we would typically require you to work only 3 bed runs each week.

Early set shift pattern - 20 minimum guaranteed weekly hours

  • This would see you working morning and lunch calls (7am-3pm) during the week.

Late set shift pattern - 15 minimum guaranteed weekly hours

  • This would see you working tea and bed calls during the week (4pm-10.30pm).


Continuous Training:
Whether you are changing careers or have many years of care experience, we want you to be equipped to handle situations that you aren’t used to and to deliver homecare confidently and knowledgeably. To enable you to do so, we offer:

  • In your first week, our Training Department will teach you all of the basics in providing exceptional care to people in their homes.
  • After 3 months with us, you will complete your Care Certificate.
  • Following this, you will carry on building your skills with additional training on Advanced Dementia and End of Life training.
  • After your first year, we want you to take control of your learning! You will have 4 days of paid training to use every year and can choose from a variety of topics.
