Hours: Full time or part time (expected hours: 20 – 40 per week)
Shift pattern: MONDAY – FRIDAY. Day shifts, evening shifts and weekend availability!

Come and join our amazing team of Home Care Assistants and make a real difference by helping and supporting the elderly and disabled members of our community in their homes, with their daily living tasks. Duties may include:

  • General housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, dusting, and vacuuming.
  • Meal preparation and cooking.
  • Run errands, such as grocery shopping or picking up dry cleaning or medication.
  • Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing and dressing. (if required)
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities with the client.

Requirements

You will behave attained GCSE or equivalent qualifications and have at least one year’s experience of care home or home care work. You will also have a compassionate and patient demeanour, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Plus, you must be English-speaking, hold a full driving licence and have an ability to commute to the Thornbury / Alveston area.

Carers MUST have the right to work in the UK and be able to attend an interview in person. We are not offering sponsorship to applicants for this role.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • You will behave attained GCSE or equivalent qualifications and have at least one year’s experience of care home or home care work.
  • You must be English-speaking
  • You must hold a full UK driving licence and have an ability to commute to the Thornbury / Alveston area
  • You will also have a compassionate and patient demeanour
