Job title: Community Care Assistant

Hours: full-time or part-time

Salary: £12.75–£14.75 per hour + 25p per mile allowance

Locations: Twyning and the surrounding areas

We are currently recruiting for full- or part-time Community Care workers to join our existing teams throughout Twyning and the surrounding areas

About the role:
As a community support worker, you’ll deliver excellent care, celebrate achievements, encourage fun and creativity, and engage directly with our wider community. You will make a positive impact in the lives of those you support. The role will leave you with a feeling of satisfaction, knowing that you have made their day just a little better.

What you will be doing:

• Supporting Individuals in their own homes to keep their Independence following a hospital stay or a change in needs
• This will include personal care, including assisting clients with washing and dressing
• Medication support
• Motivating Clients to get the most out of their day
• Occasional Shopping
• Light Housekeeping
• Meal Preparation

What we need from you:

• full driving licence and access to own vehicle are required for this position.
• Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• Be a reliable team player with a positive attitude
• Genuine passion for helping others and wanting to make a positive difference.
• Respect people’s right to privacy
• Have zero tolerance of all forms of abuse
• flexible approach to your working hours as Saturday and Sunday work is required
