Healthcare Assistants

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide essential support to patients in a care home or home care setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need of healthcare assistance.

Duties: - Assist patients with daily activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming - Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature - Assist in the development and implementation of care plans - Provide emotional support and companionship to patients - Assist with meal preparation and feeding, if necessary - Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care Requirements: - Experience in a healthcare or caregiving role is preferred - Proficiency in basic IT skills for documentation purposes - Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written - Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to different locations, if required - Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow them accurately - Ability to work well within a team and independently - Compassionate nature and strong desire to help others
