Domiciliary Care Worker (Driver only)

Ultra Care Health Professionals Ltd is a Domiciliary Care Provider Based in Newport.

We cover the following area:

Torfaen, Monmouthshire, Newport, Blaenau Gwent and Caerphilly.

The ideal person for this role would need to be highly motivated with a good level of commitment and dedication to the job. It would be an advantage if you have previous experience within the care sector and have previous knowledge of care but not required.

Your Role

• To carry out and undertake specific, general and domestic tasks which will provide good quality of health and well-being of the service users.
• To contribute and implement service users individual care plans.
• To work flexibly to meet service users support needs.
• To communicate effectively and professionally with family and advocates.
• To actively talk and listen to service users.
• To work effectively and professionally within the policies, procedures, aims and objectives of the company.

Responsibilities:

• To complete induction and mandatory training.
• Commit yourself to developing skills and knowledge as identified by you, your line manager and your colleagues.
• To be person centred in all aspects of your role.
• To communicate well with all service users and colleagues.
• To support individuals with aspects of personal care to include washing, dressing, using the toilet whilst promoting independence in the individuals own home
• To support individual lifestyle choices when delivering services ensuring dignity is always maintained
• Preparing meals
• Administering medication
