Job description

Ultra-Care Health Professionals Ltd is a recruitment agency based in Newport. We are currently recruiting and supplying temporary staff for the Care sector. We are recruiting staff and securing contracts in South Wales.

As the company is looking to reach its full potential the need has come to take on an experienced Domiciliary Care Co-ordinator to help facilitate smooth running of the domiciliary department within Ultra Care.

The ideal person for the job would need to be highly motivated with a good level of commitment and dedication to the job.

Please note that previous experience working as a Domiciliary Care Co-ordinator (Minimum of 12 months experience) or equivalent role is required.

Roles and Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities would include:

- Be responsible for helping with the day to day running of the domiciliary care service, care planning and management of staff within the domiciliary department.

- Ensure appropriate management of any safeguarding concerns including - liaising with relevant departments, completing appropriate and thorough documentation, investigation and resolution to any incidents that should occur.

- Have an oversight of all support plans and other customer documentation ensuring all reflect ‘Outstanding’ quality in relation to SCW regulation and guidance.

- Ensure all customers receive excellent service from all members of the team and being available to any customers who wish to discuss elements of their care directly with the registered manager

Skills and personal Qualities

· Have a Level 5 Health and Social Care Management Qualification

· Experience within a Domiciliary role

· Have at least 1 year(s) experience in a similar role

· Good accuracy and attention to detail

· Good communication skills; written & verbal.

· A confident and proactive approach to work

· Self-motivated.

· Experience and knowledge in and office packages (Word, excel and PowerPoint) and internal systems for Domiciliary workers including care planner.

Salary:

· Part-time / Full-time hours: To be discussed at interview to meet the needs of the business.

Salary: TBC
