Care Assistant

Spring Fountain are currently looking for highly motivated, dedicated, passionate and experienced care workers who have an interest in making a difference to the lives of elderly and disabled adults living in their local community by supporting people to remain in their own homes, enabling them to be independent by providing a range of care services.

The shift patterns vary and will require day, evenings and weekend working. Shift times can be discussed at interview stage.

Responsibilities:

Assisting with personal care duties such as toileting, bathing, dressing, brushing teeth, etc.

Assisting with medication

Manual handling, using equipment where required

Promoting client’s health and wellbeing

Companionship and help with activities/appointments

Assisting clients in planning, preparing and cooking nutritious meals

Assisting with dietary and fluid needs

Assisting clients with everyday tasks including laundry, changing and making beds, tidying and light cleaning duties.

Assisting clients with social and physical activities

Shopping and collecting prescriptions

Ensuring all needs are met as outlined in clients individual care plan
