TLTP Care is a leading home care provider that holds a very good reputation for managing care packages and maintaining high standards of care. We are currently recruiting Care Workers to join our friendly professional care team to work principally in Basildon from Monday to Sunday to cover visits between 7am to 8pm. Both full-time and part-time hours available with various working patterns include mornings, evenings, and weekends. We can offer you a stable career in these uncertain times.

Your day as a Care Assistant will be varied and require visiting several patients to provide personal care to a range of individuals with varying health needs.

Your role as a Care Assistant will include:

·  Supporting our service users with personal care such as support with showering/bathing, dressing, and grooming

·  Supporting our services users with activities of daily life depending on the level of support required by each individual

·  Monitoring individuals’ conditions and possibly helping or prompting with medication

·  Help with continence care

·  Assist to eat and drink

·  Assist with morning/wake up and or evening/tuck in

·  Organising and supporting individuals with their social and physical activities

·  Booking and going with individuals to appointments

·  Supporting with tasks around the house such as shopping, cleaning and cooking

Care Assistant person specification and qualifications:

·  QCF/NVQ Qualification in Health & Social Care

·  Enhanced DBS

·  Minimum 3 months experience in a similar role

·  Full UK driving licence and car to travel from one home to another

·  A passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service

·  Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect

·  Have a friendly, positive, calm, and helpful personality

·  Be flexible, patient, and trustworthy

·  Ability to listen, communicate clearly and build professional relationships with clients and their families in a friendly and pleasant manner

·  Respect for people with different backgrounds and beliefs to your own and who may have a range of medical conditions. Commitment to non-discriminatory care practice
