Adicare are looking for caring individuals to support individuals living at home with a range of needs across, Workshop, Retford and Tuxford area.

You don't need previous experience to become a care assistant, as we provide full training. We have huge respect for all our staff and the work they do, but if you are a caring person who would like to make a difference, please apply today.

Responsibilities for this role include :

  • Ensure the customers are at the heart of our care delivery.
  • Personal care duties including supporting them with medication, dressing , eating and maintainig their hygiene.
  • Shopping, domestic and social tasks.
  • Ensure that all of our customers wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing.
  • Communicate with relevant colleagues, family members and organisations.
  • Support customers to maintain their relationships and connections with the local community.
  • To contribute to the efficient running of the service.
  • Ensure Care Plans and guidance given on supporting our customers are followed and maintained.
  • Be responsible for promoting and safeguaridng the welfare of the individuals we support.

Skills and qualities required

  • No previous experience needed as full training provided
  • Must be 18 or over
  • Must be available to work a mixture of our shif patterns 6:30 am -3 pm or 3 pm - 11 pm
  • Must be available to work alternative weekends
  • Wanting to make a difference in care
  • Dedicated, caring, punctual and driven with a positive attitude
  • Driving license with access to own vehicle is required
  • The right to work in the UK
