Luv To Care Southampton is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in their own home. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to enhancing the well-being of our clients.

Duties

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Support clients in maintaining their independence while ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Follow individual care plans and report any changes in clients' conditions to the office.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and any incidents that occur during care.
  • Drive to clients' homes as required, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled visits.
  • Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in healthcare practices.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in domiciliary or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
  • A valid driving licence and access to your own car is required for this position.
  • A genuine passion for providing compassionate care to individuals in need.
