About the Role:
As a Live-in Carer, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their own homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will be responsible for personal care, medication management, light household tasks, and providing companionship. This role plays a vital part in our company’s mission to provide exceptional care to those who need it most. Success in this role means building trust with your client and making a tangible difference in their daily life. You will report directly to the Lead Care Coordinator and work as part of a collaborative team.

Duties:

• Assist with personal care
• Administer medication as prescribed
• Perform light household tasks (cooking, cleaning, laundry)
• Support client with mobility and daily activities
• Drive client to appointments
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Support with brain injury care and catheter management
• Keep accurate records and write reports on care provided
• Ensure client’s safety and comfort, maintaining a respectful and calm environment

Skills and Experience:

• A clean, valid driver’s license
• Experience in care, preferably as a live-in carer or similar role
• Strong communication skills with the ability to write clear reports
• Ability to work under pressure and follow routines
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful

Working Week:
The role requires live-in care, with a rota of hours agreed upon. You will typically work up to 14 days days on, followed by time off. 

Location:
The position is based in Croydon (CR2).
