SAG Living Hope is an established family run domiciliary care company providing services in Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire areas. Due to an expanding client base we are now looking for a dynamic and service focused Care Worker their vibrant team. This is a full-time, flexi-working permanent role.

The Care Worker is responsible for the continuity of care for all our customers. This vital role has a huge impact on the lives of many people who rely on our care and support.

You will be working alongside an experienced management team. The company is happy to discuss flexible working requests.

Candidates requirements

The ideal candidate will be an organised, hardworking and service focused with the following qualities:

  • A good knowledge of Milton Keynes and the surrounding area
  • Strong IT skills
  • NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care (or willing to work towards)
  • Experience in domiciliary care will be an added advantage
  • Copes well under pressure and works well under tight deadlines
  • Is highly ambitious and looking for career development.
  • Has excellent communication and people skills
  • Is a team player
  • Access to their own car and a Full UK Driving License will be an added advantage

Job role and duties

  • Provide all aspects of domiciliary care to service users including both physical, personal care and support with social activities,
  • Encourage independence and self-belief
  • Ensure records and documents are completed in line with our policy.
  • Use systems to record and monitor mileage and travel distances.
  • This list is not exhaustive and additional duties may be required.
  • Hold a care certificate or willing to undertake a care qualification
  • Personable, an effective communicator and a team player
  • Passionate about delivering a quality care service
  • Flexible with hours.
