Care Team Leader

Bright Dawn Home Care is seeking a dedicated Care Team Leader to join our team.

We offer a range of care services designed to meet the diverse needs of our clients, including Domiciliary Care, Live-In Care, and Overnight Care.

As a Care Team Leader, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of care professionals, provide guidance and support, and ensure that our clients receive exceptional care. This role will involve a combination of office-based and fieldwork responsibilities, including scheduling and managing rotas.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of care professionals to deliver high-quality care services to clients
• Schedule and manage staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage and staffing levels
• Conduct regular spot checks, competencies, and care plan reviews with carers and clients
• Participate in on-call duties
• Collaborate with the Senior Care Assistant, Deputy Manager, and Director to ensure effective communication and coordination
• Provide guidance and support to carers to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional care
• Provide direct care services to clients when needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience in care work, with some supervisory or scheduling responsibilities
• Ability to lead a team and manage staff rotas effectively
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Compassionate and empathetic approach towards clients and colleagues
• Willingness to work flexibly, both in the office and out in the field
