At Day to Day Care, we are looking for a dedicated Care Coordinator to join our friendly, close-knit team. As a Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for the planning, scheduling, and coordination of care services to ensure that every client receives the quality care they deserve. You will also be a first point of contact for carers and clients, ensuring that queries are handled professionally and effectively.

This is a varied role that involves rota planning, recruitment support, compliance management, invoicing, payroll, and general office administration. You will also take part in on-call responsibilities and assist in managing unexpected changes, such as covering shifts due to staff absences.

Your ability to stay calm under pressure, communicate effectively, and multitask will be essential in ensuring that the service runs smoothly and clients receive the best possible care.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinating Care Services – Matching care workers with clients, managing shift changes, and ensuring smooth service delivery
  • Planning & Scheduling – Using care management systems to create rotas and maintain continuity of care
  • Recruitment & Compliance – Conducting initial telephone interviews, arranging follow-ups, and ensuring compliance with CQC regulations
  • Supporting Our Carers & Clients – Being the first point of contact for any care-related queries
  • Handling Office Administration – Assisting with payroll, invoicing, compliance records, and general administrative tasks
  • Ensuring High Standards – Monitoring care quality, updating care plans, and ensuring that all services meet legal and regulatory requirements
  • On-Call Duties – Responding to emergencies and ensuring last-minute care needs are met
  • Team Development – Supporting new and existing carers, assisting with induction, and promoting a culture of professional growth

What We're Looking For

The best Care Coordinators are organised, adaptable, and great at problem-solving. You should be able to work calmly under pressure, have excellent attention to detail, and be a strong communicator who can handle multiple priorities at once.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A caring nature and a passion for making a difference
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships
  • Previous experience in care coordination, scheduling, or an administrative role (preferred)
  • Knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance (preferred)
  • Health and Social Care qualifications (NVQ/QCF Level 3 preferred)
  • IT and office skills – you’ll be using scheduling systems, emails, and spreadsheets
  • A full driving licence and access to a car
