About the Role
We are seeking compassionate, patient, and resilient Support Workers to join our dedicated team. You will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs including challenging behaviour, to lead fulfilling and independent lives.

Key Responsibilities
Provide person-centred support in line with individual care and support plans.
Assist individuals with day-to-day tasks including personal care, cooking, cleaning, and accessing community services.
Promote independence, choice, and inclusion in all aspects of daily life.
Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour using positive behaviour support (PBS) techniques.
Maintain accurate records and documentation (e.g., incident reports, daily logs, care plans).
Support individuals to attend appointments, social events, and participate in meaningful activities.
Work closely with families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standard of care.
Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and organisational policies and procedures.
Essential Requirements
Previous experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, or behavioural challenges.
Understanding of person-centred care, safeguarding, and promoting dignity and respect.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to challenging situations.
Flexible and reliable – able to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
Right to work in the UK.
Desirable Qualifications & Skills
NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
Full UK driving licence.
Knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Mental Capacity Act and CQC standards.
