About the Role:

As a Learning Disabilities Support Worker at Laurel Homecare Ltd, you will play a vital role in empowering our clients to live fulfilling and independent lives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing person-centred support to adults with a variety of learning disabilities in their own homes.
  • Assisting clients with personal care, daily living tasks, and medication administration (following appropriate training).
  • Supporting clients to access a range of community services and activities, including day centres, social groups, and day to day tasks.
  • Enabling clients to develop their skills and independence in areas such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting.
  • Building positive and trusting relationships with clients, their families, and other professionals.
  • Promoting clients' well-being, dignity, and choice.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of support provided.
  • Working flexibly across a range of shifts, which may include evenings and weekends.

About You:

  • A Driver: You must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
