Support Workers & Night Carers Wanted

Location: Thurston, Bury St Edmunds
Pay: Up to £14.60 per hour
(Double pay on Bank Holidays)
Must be a driver (with own vehicle)

Available Shifts

Night Carers

• Hours: 7:30 PM – 9:00 AM
• Schedule: 4 nights on / 4 nights off (2-week rotation)
• Note: Client's sister covers alternating two weeks once settled

Day Support Worker

• Every Sunday: 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every Other Saturday: 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Additional Hours: Cover absences + ad-hoc shifts as needed

Travel Reimbursement 

About the Client

• Age: 69
• Conditions: Autism, learning disabilities
• Care Needs: Prompting only for personal care
• Personality: Friendly, enjoys routines, art classes, and drives
• Carer Preference: Male or female applicants welcome

Who We’re Looking For

Must be 21+ years old
Experience with learning disabilities/autism
Kind, reliable, and passionate about care
Good spoken English and communication
Driver with own vehicle (required)

Paid Training Provided

• 3-day induction training
• 2–3 days of shadowing before starting independently
