Care24Seven is expanding our dedicated team of support workers at our Supported Living location in Northfields Avenue, providing high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs. We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Male Support Worker to join us in creating a positive, empowering, and safe environment for our residents.

About the Role:

As a Support Worker, you’ll play a crucial role in helping individuals lead more independent and fulfilling lives. This includes:

 

  • Supporting with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and attending appointments

  • Promoting independence, choice, and dignity at all times

  • Assisting with community integration, social inclusion, and recreational activities

  • Monitoring wellbeing and responding to emotional and behavioural needs appropriately

  • Accurately recording and reporting changes, incidents, or progress

 

 

What We’re Looking For:

 

 Male support worker (Genuine Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9)

6 months – 1 year of experience in a supported living, learning disabilities, or mental health setting

Ideally trained in Oliver McGowan Tier 2 training or willingness to undertake training

A strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management, and person-centred approaches

Great communication and interpersonal skills

Reliable, empathetic, and flexible with a positive attitude
