Care24Seven is expanding our dedicated team of support workers at our Supported Living location in Northfields Avenue, providing high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs. We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Male Support Worker to join us in creating a positive, empowering, and safe environment for our residents.
About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you’ll play a crucial role in helping individuals lead more independent and fulfilling lives. This includes:
Supporting with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and attending appointments
Promoting independence, choice, and dignity at all times
Assisting with community integration, social inclusion, and recreational activities
Monitoring wellbeing and responding to emotional and behavioural needs appropriately
Accurately recording and reporting changes, incidents, or progress
What We’re Looking For:
Female support worker (Genuine Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9)
6 months – 1 year of experience in a supported living, learning disabilities, or mental health setting
Ideally trained in Oliver McGowan Tier 2 training or willingness to undertake training
A strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management, and person-centred approaches
Great communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, empathetic, and flexible with a positive attitude
