Healthcare at Home appoints new COO

Healthcare at Home, the UK’s leading provider of complex home healthcare has appointed Julia Clinton to a newly created role as Chief Operating Officer. Julia, who was formerly Managing Director of the English Care Home division of Four Seasons Health Care, will join Healthcare at Home’s Executive Board. Hutton Collins has held a significant minority stake in Healthcare at Home since August 2007, when it made a preferred equity investment that enabled the company’s founder, Charles Walsh, and its management team to buy out an institutional shareholder. Julia Clinton is a well-known industry figure and will be instrumental in Healthcare at Home’s future operational and strategic development. She spent more than 12 years at Four Seasons Health Care, making a significant contribution to improving the quality and financial performance of the business. As Managing Director of the English Care Home division she was responsible for approximately 200 of the company’s care homes.

With revenues in excess of £700 million, Healthcare at Home is the UK’s largest provider of complex care in the home environment, treating over 100,000 patients annually for a broad range of conditions including cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis and enzyme replacement therapy.
