I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome our users to the new-look Home Care News pages, designed for a more thorough and in-depth overview of news and events relating to home care provision, its business developments, funding and regulatory issues, campaigns, and developing technologies.

The new addition of an Editorial Features section will allow us to focus on any current affairs and issues of particular relevance to the social care sector, such as emerging research, major political developments that might affect future provision or transform the role of home care providers, and the sourcing of services.

With the changing demographics and unavoidable care reform ahead, the next decade looks certain to be a time of defining transformation for the home care sector, as well as many related healthcare industries, throughout which we will endeavour to maintain these News pages to allow followers of the sector to remain up-to-date on the crucial issues.

‘News in the Media’ and ‘Care Providers News’ will continue to have daily updates, while imminent developments to our Products & Services section will enable more companies to post press releases regarding innovative and pioneering products or service expansion. Visitors to homecare.co.uk also have the option of finding links to healthcare events that may be of interest to them, while being updated on any important Appointments that may influence future thinking on home care policies and developments.

Some of the Editorial Features, such as those already listed, will also appear on the Editorial section of our sister site www.carehome.co.uk, where news stories are relevant to both the home care and care home sector – such as with major political announcements – but from hereon the majority of features are likely to be relevant to their specific website and sector.

I hope you find the Home Care News pages useful and easy to navigate, and would be pleased to consider any feedback or suggestions from our users which can be sent to richard.howard@tomorrows.co.uk
