Bluebird Care – a national provider of care in the home - has opened a new office in Sutton, Surrey.

To celebrate the launch, the team invited along MP for Sutton, Cheam and Worcester Park and Minister of State for Care Services, Paul Burstow. He said: ‘I’m delighted to join the Bluebird Care team as they launch their new care business. I take a keen interest in making a difference to health and social care services and the people that use them. Care at home gives people the opportunity to remain in the comfort of their own home and retain their independence. I wish Bluebird Care all success in their new venture.’

The new Sutton office is owned and operated by husband and wife team Paul and Kate Barry and speaking at the launch, Paul said: ‘We’ve been involved in Bluebird Care for two years now. This is our fourth office, as we already have successful offices providing care at home in Epsom and Kingston, Chichester and Reigate. Since we started, we’ve created over 130 jobs for local people and won two awards for the quality of our services. We aim to create an additional 40 jobs in the Sutton area during 2012.’

Bluebird Care has over 130 offices across the UK and provides over 4 million care visits at home every year. They specialise in working with customers and their families requiring health care in their own homes and work alongside Social Services, GPs and Primary Care Trusts. Bluebird Care offers a unique service of tailored care visits which range from anything from 15 minutes to full live-in support.
