A fresh recruitment drive has been announced by growing care-at-home provider Ark Home Healthcare, now looking to recruit more than 100 carers for contracts in Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire.
The company’s latest expansion is due to acquisition of Better At Home and also part of Anchor Trust’s domiciliary services, together with a successful contract tender from Surrey County Council.
Emerging in 2010 with the acquisition of three care companies, the Ark business portfolio has quickly expanded to cover much of South England and London. Focusing on the integration of a ‘family’ of home care providers, Ark has been successful in developing specialist care packages for both public and private sector clients.
In just two years Ark have grown to employ more than 1,000 care workers. Commenting on the latest recruitment drive, chief executive officer Mark Lavery said: ‘We have reached an exciting milestone in the development of Ark and our services to clients. We are now a fully integrated business with a signature identity that represents high quality standards of home care for all our clients.
‘Not only that, innovation is at the heart of Ark and we will be working with our staff to ensure we evolve and deliver leading-edge care and services to clients.’
Care packages available from the Ark Home Healthcare team include provision for complex and live-in care needs, personal and respite care, rapid response, companionship and palliative care, while the provider also looks to assist people with dementia in remaining independent within their own homes.
