Sevacare is delighted to announce the appointment of experienced social care professional, Mike Padgham, to its Board of directors. Mike is the Chair of the domiciliary care providers’ representative body, the United Kingdom Home Care Association (UKHCA), which represents a significant coup for Sevacare.

Mike brings with him more than two decades of experience in working with Social Care businesses and in being at the forefront of the sector.

Speaking about Mike’s appointment, Sevacare’s Chairman, Ravi Bains, said “In Mike we have a seasoned professional with a great deal of experience as a social care provider with flair and entrepreneurial spirit. As we look to grow and develop Sevacare and strengthen our position as one of the UK’s foremost home care providers, Mike will be an extremely valuable asset to the Board.”

Mike is delighted to be joining Sevacare’s board. “Sevacare is a fantastic success story in the UK homecare market, having grown from modest beginnings to the major player it is today in just a decade. Ravi is a truly inspirational figure with a tremendous passion for the sector and he and Chief Executive, Roger Booker, now head up one of the country’s most forward-looking and exciting care providers.”

He continued “In my work with Sevacare so far I have been impressed by the way the Company puts people first – the people that they care for and the people that they employ – to carry out that care. That chimes well with my own values. I look forward to joining Sevacare and helping them in whatever ways I can in the future.”
