Twenty-three new jobs are being created as part of Enara’s new plans to open two offices in Exeter and Bristol. Part of the MITIE Group plc Enara is the fourth largest provider of home care services in the UK, supporting people who need help due to illness, disability or infirmity.
With over 500 employees in the region already able to provide up to 16,000 hours of care to the local community, Enara will generate 10 new full time care staff in Exeter and another 10 care staff in Bristol.
Wayne Felton, Strategic Director of Healthcare for MITIE, said, “I’m delighted that we are investing in and expanding our service provision in the South West, which is an important growth area.”
The announcement comes as demands from local residents have increased, and the move to larger premises in Bristol will allow over 100 carers to work throughout the area.
As part of the changes, Enara has appointed two new registered managers, Kerrie Graham in Bristol and Nena Martin-Harris in Exeter. Both will be using their experience and expertise in the care sector to develop the quality of services in the area.
Mr Felton continued: “We’re committed to continually improving our services and always keeping the people we look after as our number one priority. The new offices in Bristol and Exeter will allow us to improve access and involvement for our customers, service users and employees.”
