The Commissioning Show is expanding to become the core of a new healthcare event Health+Care 2013.
The event will create a platform for the industry’s leading professionals to interpret policy, devise strategy and implement change. Ralph Collett, director of Health+Care says: “Health+Care will be a landmark forum for everyone to address the important question of how policymakers, clinicians, commissioners and care providers can work together in a more holistic manner.
“The Commissioning Show has already established itself as an important diary date for everyone involved in primary care commissioning. Now, as part of Health+Care, health professionals will be able to gain a holistic view that includes perspectives from social care commissioners and care providers, reflecting a more integrated approach to care,”
The new multi-conference event will be divided into four shows, the commissioning show, The Home Care Show, The Residential Care Show and the Health+Care integration conference. The event will feature talks from senior leaders in health, social care, and the government.
Director of programming at Health+Care, Mike Broad championed the line-up of speakers saying: “Our speaker programme is jam-packed with leaders from across the health and social care arena because they appreciate that in these challenging times we've got to do more with less. More integrated care holds the answers - as recently recognised by our political leaders.
“No other event has a chance of getting all the decision makers required to deliver greater integration in the same room. Health+Care is building on the success of the Commissioning Show and will have all the commissioners and senior directors present and primed to make huge steps forward in how we deliver health and wellbeing,”
Organisations which serve any aspect of the health and care profession are able to register their attendance at http://www.healthpluscare.co.uk/
