New contracts have been secured by home care provider Sevacare which are set to boost business in 2013.

Sevacare’s new contracts will see them bringing homecare services to Luton Borough Council and Solihull, and personal care and support services to Northamptonshire County Council.

Chief Executive Roger Booker said: “These new contracts follow on from a very positive 2012, when we added a substantial number of new clients and consolidated our position as a growing, forward-looking homecare provider across the UK.

Sevacare provides more than 80,000 hours of care a week to some 7,000 service users with branches spread across the North East, North West, East and West Midlands, the South East and London areas. They provide person centred care and support and also believe that training and staff development is at the heart of an excellent organisation.

It has also been announced that Sevacare has been nominated for domiciliary care provider of the year award at the Health Investor Awards, with the results being announced later in the year in June.

Mr Booker said: “At a time when there is a lot of doom and gloom in the sector and the economy is in difficulties, it is very pleasing to be able to announce further success for Sevacare.

“We look forward to working with our new clients and providing them with high-quality, person-centred care.”

It has already been a positive start to Sevacare’s year with the creation of their sixth branch in London after their contract with the London Borough of Sutton to provide services was secured. At the same time, there was success for providing care and support services within St Bede’s Extra Care Scheme in Bedford.
