A community project will receive £18,000 to boost its services in celebration of the outdoor key safe specialists’ eighteenth birthday.

Worchester based business Supra UK create key safes and secure storing for property keys in an external location. They provide 86 per cent of local authorities, health care professionals and housing associations with products which ensure the safety of many people and properties throughout the country.

The company helps the home care sector to aid older and vulnerable people to remain living as independently as possible in their own homes by providing services which securely store their house keys externally for the use of health care professionals as well as Telecare and Telehealth services.

The business will be celebrating its eighteenth birthday by launching its Willy Wonka golden key style competition.

David Ogden, managing director of Supra UK, said: “I’m really proud of everyone involved with Supra UK, who has helped us reach this landmark anniversary. I am as passionate today as I was when I set up the business and our ethos of a quality product, great customer service and always setting the standards is the key to our success.

“We hope this fantastic birthday prize will do just what our key safes already do – change people’s lives.”

Between 3 June 2013 and 31 August 1013 eight customers will win a golden key, giving them the opportunity to nominate a local community scheme or project which they feel deserve the £18,000 prize money.

One project will then be picked through an online vote which will be revealed at a VIP event on 14 November 2013 attended by all eight golden key finalists.

Once all of the keys have been distributed customers will be able to vote on their website.
