An occupational therapist has been given the role of expanding neurological services provided by London based Sweet Tree for people in their own homes.

Sweet Tree offers live in care for those living with neurological conditions, brain injuries, mental health related illness and learning disabilities.

Occupational therapist, Nemone Jakeman, will be expanding the services for people living with conditions including multiple sclerosis, Huntington’s disease, stroke and epilepsy, whilst ensuring the neurological team’s links with complex care and brain injury care teams remain strong.

Ms Jakeman said: “I’m delighted to join the team at SweetTree and to be working in an environment where I can put my skills and knowledge to good use. It’s very rewarding to be able to make a positive impact on the lives of others and I’m looking forward to working with the complex care and brain injury teams to help develop the neurological conditions service further.”

Barry Sweetbaum, SweetTree managing director said: “We are committed to growing and developing our neurological care services and Nemone makes a fantastic addition to the team. Her experience, professionalism and enthusiasm for changing the lives of those we support will help ensure that the support we provide to individuals with neurological conditions remains unrivalled.”
