A special presentation took place last week to mark the long and loyal service of three staff members at Manorcourt Homecare (Hornchurch branch), who between them have collectively notched up 60 years of service this year!
Janice King, the Operations Director of Manorcourt Homecare, which is part of the Healthcare Homes Group and provides care-at-home services to people in and around the Hornchurch area, presented Lynn Brockwell, Denise Curtis and Emma Berry with long-term service certificates at a special awards ceremony.
Lynn Brockwell started as a Home Help in March 1996. From being a Home Help Lynn progressed to Care Worker. In 2000 Lynn gained promotion to Co-ordinator. At this time the branch was in Dagenham. Lynn has transferred to Hornchurch with the company and has continued in her role of Co-ordinator since. Lynn has always lived locally to the branch until about four years ago when she moved further afield and continues to travel to work. Lynn is trained in Makaton signing.
Denise Curtis (known by the team as Dee) joined the team as an Accounts Assistant in 1996. In 2004 Dee gained promotion to Team Leader for Accounts. Dee lives locally to the Hornchurch Branch office.
Emma Berry started work as an Office Junior at the Dagenham branch. From this post Emma progressed to become a Co-ordinator at this Branch. When the Branch moved to Hornchurch, Emma joined the Nanny Agency and Training Centre as an Administrator. In 2000 Emma was asked to provide cover in the Accounts Department and has remained in her role as Accounts Assistant since. Emma also lives locally to the Hornchurch branch.
Manorcourt Homecare has 17 homecare branch locations across the East of England and towards London, which carry more than 1.5 million visits per annum to people requiring home-based support and care services, including live-in care.
