National healthcare organisation Nurse Plus will be driving its biggest recruitment campaign, as it aims to recruit 750 individuals to meet the national care demand.

The healthcare recruitment expert, which also provides homecare services, has announced the figure following a review of the demand for care across England.

Nurse Plus will look to recruit existing care professionals and registered nurses, as well as encouraging those who have never before worked in the care industry.

To support the campaign Nurse Plus will be launching a new website dedicated to recruitment, as well as continuing to target individuals through social media, roadshows and events.

Pamela Bruce, Nurse Plus Managing Director, commented: “We all know the demand for care is continuing to grow at a rapid pace and, as a leading healthcare recruitment organisation, Nurse Plus needs to continue its efforts to attract quality care workers to the industry.

“As we continue to support healthcare organisations with their temporary and permanent staffing solutions, we also need to meet the need of delivering our own homecare provision in local communities across England.”

Nurse Plus offer a variety of employment opportunities suited to all ages. The organisation has previously run a number of successful campaigns, including encouraging and promoting the benefits of working in care to the male workforce and to those at retirement age.

Nurse Plus was established in 2005 by a group of experienced healthcare and recruitment experts. Since then the company has grown rapidly and provides homecare and nursing agency services, with over 55 branches across the UK.

The company’s progress has been underlined by the recent investment from Sovereign Capital and shortlisting for a number of high profile industry awards.
