homecare.co.uk, the leading home care reviews website, has announced this year’s top care providers.
Nearly 900,000 people in the UK receive care at home and there are over 600,000 people working in the home care sector.
Finding compassionate care for someone who is often lonely and isolated at home is crucial. This is why homecare.co.uk has looked at 17,000 reviews of the home care providers written by the people they care for, plus their friends and relatives, to find out which is providing the best care.
The list of the Top 20 home care providers in each region can be found here.
Amanda Hopkins, reviews manager of homecare.co.uk, said: “People are living longer with more complex conditions, so home care providers, which offer compassionate, personalised care to people in their own homes are becoming increasingly crucial in today’s society. Home care providers are also vital in enabling people with disabilities to stay as independent as possible and still live in their own homes.
“We feel it is a real achievement to be recognised for being one of the Top 20 home care groups in the UK.
“Looking for the right home care provider can be time-consuming and difficult. We hope our awards will help to make people’s search that little bit easier.”
The home care providers were rated on their overall standard, staff, care and support, management, whether they treat people with dignity and their value for money.
QCS (Quality Compliance Systems), which produces bespoke policies, procedures and management toolkits for the care sector, is sponsoring the homecare.co.uk 2019 awards.
A spokesperson for QCS said: “We are really pleased to be sponsoring the homecare.co.uk awards. Our purpose at QCS is to help create a fairer and compassionate world and we hope these awards help to set a high standard of outstanding care for the most vulnerable in society.”
homecare.co.uk is a reviews site, that lists all registered UK home care providers, helping people in their search for the right home care.
