New Night Owl Service

Do you need night-time care? It is now within everyone’s reach in Barnet.

The new affordable Night Owl Service from Barnet Carers Centre will start in October.

Our skilled Homecare Assistants will check in on your loved ones at flexible hourly intervals throughout the night for:

- Administering medication and fluids - Turning - Toileting - Any other necessary care.

“This important new affordable service will help to reduce the stress on carers and enable them to get a better night’s sleep, confident that their loved ones are receiving the care they need,” said Donia Arnall, Head of HomeCare.

1. The average cost of overnight care in Barnet is £120. The Night Owl Service will cost £25/hour

2. There are an estimated 40,000 unpaid carers in Barnet many of whom struggle in isolation.

3. Barnet Carers Centre, a registered charity, has been providing care and support for Adult and Young Carers in the London Borough of Barnet for almost 30 years.
