Under the agreement, Clemac provided administration, training and support to several independent firms in Ireland which provide care services under the Bluebird Care brand.

Bluebird Care franchise owners in Ireland will now more directly become a part of the wider Bluebird Care franchise network which includes the UK.

Bluebird Care has over 200 franchises across the UK and now the Republic of Ireland.

Jennifer Sheets, chief executive and President of Caring Brands International, which runs Bluebird Care said: “I’m looking forward to supporting our Irish franchisees with their continued growth and market leadership now with the change of ownership and with the additional resources and guidance of the Bluebird Care Franchise Support Team.”

Bluebird Care offers care at home, ranging from check-in visits to full live-in support.

Wayne Smith, acting managing director at Bluebird Care, said: “We are very much looking forward to extending our award-winning support services to the team in the Republic of Ireland, so that they can continue to provide the highest standards of care to customers in their own homes, now during Covid-19, and in the future.”
