The Home Care Expo 2020 has been postponed until next year as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
Home Care Expo’s organiser has decided to push back the event from November until next March, after speaking with exhibitors, partners and visitors.
The conference and exhibition was due to take place at NEC Birmingham on November 9-10 and will now take place on March 9-10 2021.
'Extremely difficult decision'
Originally, the Home Care Expo had been due to take place on 17-18 March 2020 but the COVID-19 pandemic led to the show being rescheduled to this November.
Other care events postponed until next year include The Care Show and Health+Care but the announcement that the Home Care Expo would be pushed back for the second time came on 1 September.
Event organiser ROAR B2B said in a statement on its website: 'After extensive consultation with our partners, exhibitors and visitors, we have taken the extremely difficult decision to postpone the event until Spring 2021.
'We will be continuing our support of the care provider community through a number of digital initiatives in the run-up to the March event.
'This includes our recently launched Industry Support Guide, so please check our website and follow us on social media for regular updates.
'We welcome any input from our visitors and customers on such initiatives and are proud to be able to support the industry as much as we can through this difficult time.
'We look forward to welcoming you to the Home Care Expo on the 9th & 10th March 2021 at NEC, Birmingham'.
