U Homecare, which has over 50 workers based in Scotland’s East Lothian region, have booked the TV stars to honour their staff’s efforts during the pandemic.

Strictly judge Shirley Ballas - dubbed The Queen of Latin - and Strictly winner Joe McFadden will announce which home care workers got a 10 out of 10 on the scoreboard this year.

The live-streamed event begins at 3pm on 22 December.

Gavin Bryce, founder and director at U Homecare said: “Our promise to our clients and team is It’s All About U! The Unicorn programme and the Award Ceremony, is a great way of living up to that promise for our team members. It’s an occasion to celebrate the incredibly valuable work they do, often in very challenging circumstances.

“The Award Ceremony cannot be held in person this year, for obvious reasons, but it will be still be a glitzy and fun experience. As well as the awards themselves, we have live entertainment, music for every generation, celebrity guests and guest speakers."
