Home care group Home Instead has created a series of adverts as the sponsor for gardening legend Alan Titchmarsh’s tv series ‘Love Your Garden’.
Home Instead is collaborating with ITV on a series of five to 15 second short films narrated by Alan Titchmarsh, which are intended to show older adults living 'fulfilling lives' at home.
The adverts are scheduled to be broadcast later this year before and after episodes of ‘Love Your Garden’.
Garden makeovers in people's homes
The television series, which began last February, is aired on Monday evenings and shows Alan Titchmarsh and his team busy digging to makeover people's domestic gardens across the UK.
After editing gardening magazines, Alan Titchmarsh made his first appearance on the BBC in 1979. He has written over 40 gardening books, 10 novels and has celebrated 30 years of presenting the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
Home Instead ‘delighted’ to be ‘back on mainstream TV’
Home Instead’s brand and marketing director Lee Chapman said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to be back on mainstream TV and for Alan to represent our brand. It’s a great match for us.
“The campaign allows us to explore the wonderful theme of a ‘life well lived at home’ which resonates with so many of us, at the present time.
“We are working to ensure that families and their loved ones understand the care options available to them and are keen to celebrate independence in the home at every opportunity."
The home care group created an advert in 2019 called 'The Third Stair' to promote its home care services. It featured Stanley and his care worker Christine and highlighted Stanley's memories of his own home and the importance of being independent in people's own surroundings.
Mr Chapman added: "A television audience allows us to reach out to many people. It’s an exciting time for us.”
