She has been responsible for the implementation of an internal enhanced monitoring system (EMS) to allow high-quality monitoring of vulnerable customers. The system is monitored by a dedicated, experienced director who works proactively to pre-empt and identify any signs of change as early as possible. As Principal Director of the Coventry branch, she encourages her colleagues to push themselves to achieve their ultimate potential, and progress at Bluebird Care. Under Carolyn’s leadership, one member of staff who began as a Care Assistant at Bluebird Care is now a Senior Director. Her high standards trickle down the business via open communication, strong leadership, and encouraging a strong team spirit. Upon being announced, Carolyn commented: “I could not believe it when I found out. It is always lovely to be acknowledged and rewarded for hard work, but it is not why we do it at Bluebird Care. The success of the EMS, along with the training and mentoring I have helped give to colleagues, are what I am most proud of. Making the Home Care Insight Power List is evidence that we do things well, and the Quality and Compliance Champions Category acknowledging us proves to our customers we’re always looking to innovate and improve.”
