With staff shortages in the UK's care sector, the home care firm is looking to recruit care workers for 30 jobs, 'as a result of an increase in demand for home care support'.

Bluebird Care Shropshire specialises in supporting people needing care at home who live with dementia, physical disabilities, and other acute and chronic conditions. It offers home care as well as 24/7 live-in care to people in Shrewsbury, Oswestry & Church Stretton.

The home care provider has stated that ‘despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic', it 'has continued to go from strength-to-strength'.

Sammie Milton, Bluebird Care Shropshire’s new recruitment officer said: “We want to attract the people who are naturally good at caring.

"We have a fantastic training programme and can support individuals’ development, whatever their level and experience.

“Ultimately, we want people who want more than just a job. At Bluebird Care Shropshire we make a real difference to the lives of many.”

Bluebird Care Shropshire has said no previous care experience is necessary for its roles. It is offering ‘great career progression' to start new careers in social care for local people.
