Saturday 11th June marked the Queen's Birthday celebration and for the occasion the Hanham Business & Community Partnership (HBCP) organised and hosted the Hanham High St Summer Fair. With lots to see and do, there were numerous crafts stalls as well as circus entertainment.

It was the biggest turnout for the event so far and for the event we hosted a stall with a number of fair games including; a tombola, guess the sweets in a jar, lucky and others. A fun day for all and all the families loved our games!

All of the proceeds went to a great cause through Home Instead Charities who support a number of charities across the UK as well as local charities. They exist to bring happiness and joy into the lives of our ageing population through peer support lunch clubs, art clubs and music therapy groups. Their focus is on encouraging a world where ageing adults aren’t just surviving, they are thriving!
