Welcome to the Lavender Lounge: A New Haven for Those Affected by Dementia

Home Instead Farnborough is very excited to announce the opening of our Lavender Lounge Dementia Cafe.

Set to launch on the 27th of March 2025 at The Field Centre in Southwood Country Park, Farnborough, we will welcome those living with dementia and their carers. The Lavender Lounge aims to provide a welcoming environment where people can come together, share their experiences, and find new friendships over a comforting cup of tea or coffee and a slice of cake.

It is an entirely free service and will be open on the last Thursday of every month from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. There's no need for prior booking. Accessibility has been thoughtfully considered, with facilities available to ensure everyone can enjoy their time at the cafe.

With 57 hectares of stunning natural open space surrounding The Field Centre, visitors can also enjoy the beauty of Southwood Country Park. A great place for taking a moment for yourself or enjoying some light exercise.
