Candlelight Care Amongst Winners at Wimborne Business Awards

The fourth annual Wimborne Business Awards took place at the Allendale Centre earlier this month, and Candlelight Care in Wimborne were delighted to be announced as the winners of the Independent Business of the Year award.

The company has been providing care and support to vulnerable people in Wimborne and surrounding areas for almost 14 years. Although staff from the branch have previously been recognised at Candlelight Care’s annual awards ceremony for their dedication to their clients, this is their first external accolade. Branch Manager Cheree Buckler and Community Team Manager Sean Chessell joined over seventy local business people and Mayor Cllr Jeff Hart at the ceremony, and were thrilled to be presented with the award.

Cheree Buckler, Branch Manager of Candlelight Care in Wimborne, said , “This award is for every one of our dedicated care staff and we are proud to receive it. We would like to thank the organisers of the Wimborne Business Awards and congratulate the other winners and finalists, especially runner-up Wimborne Psychology and Woodsies.”
