Cheltenham Jobs Fair: Connecting with our community

Last week, Caremark had the pleasure of attending the Cheltenham Jobs Fair at Cheltenham Library.

Emily and Frances, spent the morning engaging with attendees and discussing career opportunities in care. They also showcased our innovative approach to home support.

One of the highlights of our presence at the fair was introducing GenieLite. GenieLite is our new Remote Care robotic companion. She (we call her a ‘she’) is designed to provide additional support for individuals in need. GenieLite certainly sparked interest from several visitors.

We had meaningful conversations with family members looking for support solutions. One of which was a wife seeking assistance for her husband with vascular dementia. We also spoke to others hoping to improve care for older relatives.

Several individuals we spoke to expressed a keen interest in joining the Caremark team. We look forward to seeing some of them at our in-house training next week.

Engaging with the local community at events like the Cheltenham Jobs Fair is invaluable. It allows us to share the rewarding nature of a career in care, introduce new technologies that enhance home support, and, most importantly, connect with those in need of compassionate care services.
