Lymm Duck Race

Each year, Lymm village gets together to launch a thousand yellow rubber ducks down the dingle for a special race and to raise money for charity.

We were delighted to sponsor a duck this year, and to have a stall in the village to support the community event and to meet the families of the people we care for.

It was a fantastic day … despite the weather being perfect for ducks but not so much for the rest of us … the crowds braved the rain, and we were able to meet lots of families as well as local businesses in the community.

We had treats for the kids, games, leaflets and free friendly advice to give out. And most importantly, lots of money was raised for charity.
