We recognise this area mainly because of the nature of the work we do. Care workers that understand how important they are to the people they care for and make the effort to get out every day. This award also acknowledges not only exceptional attendance but also credits taking on extra to support colleagues who have not been able to make it to work. Dedication like this helps ensure all clients get a call every single day.
This carer joined us in Feb 2020 and just quietly gets on with his job. He has complex clients that he handles with ease. He has had no sickness, no covid and no unavailability – works most weekends and picks up extra if needed; a real unsung hero..
