View Full Details of Carewise LtdI have the highest regard for one staff member in particular and the team from Carewise Ltd. Following my phone call for help on Monday, we agreed I would travel down to meet one members of staff at my Mother's on Wednesday to explain my mum's particular requirements and needs, The staff member's engagement with mum was pivotal, understanding that her early on set dementia, she rephrased question to ensure that mum understood how and what would happen, my Mother and I felt a weight had been lifted from our shoulders,. Care commenced on that Friday. Excepting we are only one month in, we are all very pleased with the carers who deal with mum and her needs daily, being cheerful and pleasant whilst going about their tasks and have struck up a nice rapport with mum.
All the carers I have had are kind, caring and efficient. They are always polite and helpful and do anything I ask of them without complaining. They are all friendly and it's nice to be able to have a chat with them.
My husband was referred to this home care provider on discharge from hospital. We have now dealt with them for a month and have found them very caring and polite. Always asking if I was alright. They are always very punctual and time keeping seems to be of great importance. They are always cheerful and try to engage with him at every opportunity. He has quite complex needs and they seem to be able to deal with them quite efficiently and always respectful of his dignity. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.
The staff are always polite, supportive, caring, loyal, trustworthy, understanding, patient too. The only concerns are: if the carers are travelling by company vehicle or by train or by bus, the carers need to include extra time by a hour while travelling in case of train delays or cancellations. Which means that they need to leave their homes a hour earlier. Also they need be more patient and careful while manoeuvring my mum in her wheelchair through door ways though.
Living so far from my mother-in-law it has been a growing concern to us as she became frailer and started to be confused. Knowing that the carers would be in shortly to deal with any problems she'd raised over the phone with us was such a relief. They dealt with any issue, from sorting out the TV controls to sorting out meals, flagging up supply issues, to even dealing with an unwanted cold caller who'd gained admittance. There was more than one occasion in which the carer had to stay with Mum beyond their allotted visit time, because she had fallen or was too ill, staying until an ambulance or doctor arrived. This presumably meant rearrangement of schedules for everyone, but it was always done with good humour and the feeling that Mum's needs should always be met. They always kept us fully informed and they were proactive in flagging up any issues that they had noticed. I have no hesitation in recommending this very caring, hardworking team of people.
Carewise started caring for Mum in 2017 after she broke her hip. Care was increased as Mum became more in need. During the past year, she deteriorated quite badly and needed extra help. This was increased to 4 times a day. I cannot praise the carers and office staff enough. Carers were always kind and understanding and office staff always helped in making sure any difficulties we had were dealt with i.e. getting a carer to do something specific like find the tv remote control or make sure the phones were replaced. Everybody had a positive and helpful attitude. We knew Mum was in good hands. They could not have been better, they all had a very caring attitude and we are so grateful to them for making Mum's life more comfortable and giving us the confidence that Mum had the care she needed while she was still able to be at home. Thank you Carewise.
