Could not recommend Meridian Community Care highly enough in supporting my mum who has mixed dementia. The staff are very friendly, and compassionate and they use their skills to ensure all of her needs are met and the care plan is followed with both respect and dignity. Having the same carers arriving at the same times each day means a trusting and friendly relationship has been embedded and continues to blossom. Nothing is too much trouble and their whole set-up puts our minds at rest in the processes and regime in place for mum.

We have been using Meridian Care for about eight years. My husband is in his nineties and gets very anxious if routines are not followed and things become unpredictable. It is particularly helpful, therefore, that there are just three carers who look after him and that they understand his needs so well. They are very good at coming at the scheduled time and it is very rare that the time of an appointment has to be changed. The care they give him is excellent and they carefully follow the arranged protocols. My husband and I are very happy with the service and have no complaints.

Meridian Care have supported my elderly mum for almost three years in her own home, assisting her to maintain her independence in a respectful but friendly manner. I have nothing but the highest praise for her dedicated team of carers; they are reliable, cheerful and caring - in fact nothing ever feels that it would even be too much trouble for any of them. The fact that Meridian ensure that she has the same carers on a regular schedule has really helped mum to build a trusting relationship with her small team and, in turn, it means that each of them understand her needs, including her drive to be as independent as possible within her physical limitations. They always put a smile on her face, even when she is feeling a bit down, and are a valuable link to the outside world which enriches her life even more. It’s lovely to hear them laughing and joking together when I pop in. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anybody - thank you for everything you do.

My 96 year old mum has been receiving care at home, 3 times a day, for almost 3 years. She has an early morning visit, a lunchtime visit, including preparation of her food, and a tea time visit; two visits include supervising medication. She looks forward to seeing whoever the carer is and is always positive in her comments about them. In my dealings with carers and managers, they have always been approachable, friendly, accommodating and helpful. They keep me updated if they are concerned about my mum in any way. Rules of this review mean that I cannot mention names, but the service we received when Mum had to be admitted to hospital as an emergency case in early 2020 was truly exceptional. From my experience, I would happily recommend Meridian to someone seeking home care. Personally, I feel that the money spent on Mum's care is very well invested - but I haven't provided a rating simply because I am not in a position to compare like with like.

I receive excellent care from this company. My carer, having got to know me, anticipates my needs and I couldn’t ask for more. They are very efficient and at the same time reassuring in their care. They are a very cheerful and comforting way to start the day.
